July 2017- Logan Elitzky
DULLES HIGH SCHOOL
Logan Elitzky is a recent graduate from Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas. Logan was member of the Dulles Viking Baseball team for four years. During his junior and senior year he was the Vikings starting catcher. Not only was Logan a catcher, he would also rotate to outfielder, due to his versatility out on the field.
Logan first started playing baseball when he was four years old. Ever since he started playing at First Colony Little League, Logan never lost passion for the game. Since then, he has played for travel teams such as Kyle Chapman and Team Citius. He would travel to several states across the US including Arizona and Florida.
Elitzky shined on the field as well as in the classroom. He maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout high school, and was selected to the All District Academic Team during his junior and senior years. Logan also received the University Interscholastic League Scholar Award, and a scholarship from the Dulles High School Athletic Booster Club. In his community he was an avid volunteer with the Dream League, which gave disabled children an opportunity to play baseball. Logan was a volunteer at the Dream League all throughout high school and received the Y.E.S award for volunteering over one hundred hours.
This fall Logan will continue his education at Texas A&M University in College Station where he will major in engineering. He is grateful for the time he spent in the Dulles baseball program under head coach Mike Weatherly, and is excited to see what the future holds for him.
