September 2016- Ryan Fisch


Ryan Fisch is a 6’ 3”, right handed starting pitcher for the varsity baseball team at Clements High School in Sugar Land. He just completed his junior year with a team high 6 wins and 63 strikeouts in the regular season, leading the Rangers to their first playoff win since 2012.

Ryan has always been committed to baseball and has played in tournaments in numerous states through the years including Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Missouri. This summer, he played with the South Texas Sliders and they traveled to Georgia and Missouri. Ryan was also selected to take part in the Houston Area Code Baseball Event.

Ryan is a true example of a high achieving Student and Athlete. His performance extends far beyond the baseball diamond. Academically, he balances his class schedule with the majority AP and college level courses, including American History, English, Psychology, Physics, and Economics, to name a few. Ryan is proud to be a member of the National Honor Society and enjoys volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. This past season he made the Academic All-District and Academic All-State team.

In August, Ryan committed to Brown University where he will be a member of the Bears baseball team starting Fall 2017. Ryan is excited for his senior year at Clements, honored to be a team captain, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!
