ELKINS HIGH SCHOOL
Andrew Olson, is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound, pitcher for the Elkins Knights high school baseball team in Fort Bend ISD. He is currently a senior and has been a pitcher for the Elkins Knights baseball program since his freshman year.
While at Elkins, Andrew was a four year athlete in baseball, played on the golf team for two years and was recently named the Elkins Baseball “Knight of the Year” by his coaches, Tyler Porter and Jason Slanina.
Throughout his high school career, Andrew has always been an active student in all aspects of high school. Andrew has competed in UIL academics competitions, is a four-year member of the Dean’s list, a member of Student Council and National Honor Society, and a four year member of the Elkins High School Engineering Academy. In addition, he is a member of the Elkins HS Academic Decathlon team, where he won 3rd place at state for his interview at this year’s competition.
In the fall, Andrew will begin attending Texas A&M University where he plans on studying Construction Science.
While Andrew feels the Knights baseball season ended too soon this year he will always treasure the many great memories and friends from his time on the field with the Elkins Knights and coaching staff.
