Student Athlete of the Year 2012- Clara Pardue


Throughout her high school career Clara Pardue was a multi-sport athlete, earning varsity letters throughout her time at Fort Bend Christian Academy.  This will include:

Four varsity letters in tennis, where she was the team captain for three years.

In basketball, she was a four year varsity letterman and was a team captain for the last two years.  She is the school record holder in three point baskets made, for a game, a season and a career, and was chosen to play in the Greater Houston Private School Girls All-Star game her senior year.

In volleyball and cross country, another four varsity letters, bringing her high school career total to an impressive 12.

A winner in every aspect of life, Clara Pardue is a Christian leader on this campus.  She is very involved in all aspects of the school, and was one of the top students, ranking in the top 10% of her graduating class of 2012 at Fort Bend Christian.  She is also dedicated to community service, and her record reflects this with hundreds (over 200) total hours of documented service while a student there.

She was recently selected as the “Female Athlete of the Year” for the state of Texas, as chosen by TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools).

Clara is currently a student at Texas A&M University and majors in biology.
